, CHAIRMAN

Victor founded the company in 1967 and continues as Chairman.  Although he now oversees all company activities, Victor is a distinguished Civil and Structural Engineer. 

He has been instrumental in the development of Tilt-Up Construction and has been recognized as one of the leading authorities on that subject for over thirty years.

LAWRENCE "PAT" KRAMER, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Pat brings some thirty years experience in management and administration from his diversified career in city government, state office and public positions.

EXPERIENCE:

Pat commenced his career as Secretary/Treasurer and General Manager of the Lawrence F. Kramer Company of Paterson, NJ, a building supply firm.

  • 1966-1971:Elected Mayor of Paterson, at age 33.

  • 1969: Elected President of NJ Conference of Mayors.

  • 1970: Appointed by President R. Nixon as Inter-Governmental Relations Commissioner.

  • 1971-1974: Appointed by Governor Cahill as NJ Commissioner of Community Affairs.

  • 1974-1982: Elected Mayor of Paterson.

  • 1983:Joined V. Paulius & Associates as Executive Vice President.

/GENERAL COUNSEL

Kip is General Counsel to the firm coordinating all of its commercial and real estate transactions.  In addition, Kip is responsible for our administrative and operational functions as they relate to our long range plans to meet the corporate objectives.  Kip remains instrumental in developing and maintaining client relations in all of our markets.

Dainius joined VPA in 1994 and his responsibilities range from data gathering, evaluation, performing and preparing construction documentation to field inspection, supervision, coordination and support.

RAYMOND V. PAULIUS, A.I.A., P.P., VICE PRESIDENT

Raymond is Vice President of VPA and the Managing Director and Design Principal for Paulius International, P.C.  Working professionally with his father Victor since 1989, Raymond has amassed great expertise in the field of Tilt-Up Design and Construction.  He has been instrumental in guiding the company’s design sensibility by creating solutions that evolve from leading edge concepts and practices.

ROBERT A. PAULIUS, VICE PRESIDENT

Robert is Vice President of VPA and is in charge of the General Contracting and Construction Management operations. Joining his father and brother after graduating in 1989, Robert’s responsibilities include management of all phases of project development, financial analysis, contract administration, coordinating staff, overseeing technical quality and budget aspects.

Prior to joining VPA, Mark served in various roles of increasing responsibility within the commercial banking industry.  Mark began his twenty (20) year banking career in 1984 as a Credit Analyst and his most recent position was Team Leader for Bank of America’s (Fleet) New Jersey Commercial Real Estate Lending Group.  In his role as Team Leader, Mark was responsible for the management of a $1.2 billion commercial real estate portfolio.

CHARLES VAGELL, PRESIDENT

Charles is responsible for managing all phases of project development. His duties include coordination of staff of various departments within the company as well as developing design criteria, conducting feasibility studies and financial analysis, contract administration and overseeing technical quality.

EXPERIENCE:

Charles joined our construction department shortly after his graduation in 1970.  Starting as field assistant, he held positions of Job Superintendent and Project Manager before being appointed Vice President in 1978, and President in 1985.  Working closely with Victor Paulius on the implementation of the firm’s Tilt-Up Construction concept, Charles has become recognized as an expert in this field.  He has also been instrumental in establishing the firm in the Cold Storage Construction field.
